The tES Cap simplifies the process of positioning stimulation electrodes on the head, ensuring both precision and safety. Crafted for both therapeutic and research uses, these caps facilitate the application of gentle direct (tDCS) or alternating (tACS) currents to the brain. They are fully compatible with the entire range of neuroConn DC-STIMULATOR devices.
- Knitted silicone yarn ensures electrodes are positioned tightly across the head
- The caps are made of high-quality elastic knitted material that fits any head shape
- Predefined positioning of the electrodes ensures they are always positioned correctly
- Different sizes are available to provide an optimum fit for all patients
- Electrodes can be evenly saturated in saline solution through a reservoir solution
The caps are currently available in four preconfigured electrode configurations (see below). This ensures correct placement and fit of the electrodes for the treatment required. Handling is very convenient. It allows your patients to use the cap on their own after detailed instruction and training and under the supervision of the treating therapist (learn more).

For all other electrode montage configurations, we recommend our established solution with rubber electrodes and sponge pads.
