Terms & Conditions

The following Terms and Conditions apply to all workshop listings of the neurocare group AG and other services rendered to entrepreneurs as defined by Sect. 310 Para. 1 BGB [German Civil Code].

1. Participation conditions

The participant is expected to have at least a Masters level in Human Sciences (e.g. Psychology, Medicine). In cases where the education level is comparable, participation can be considered by neurocare. neurocare can request degrees and certificates as proof.

2. Prices, services and payments

Workshop prices are found in the current program without obligation. neurocare  obtains the right to change the price of courses and workshops if necessary. During the courses and workshops neurocare will serve drinks, snacks and a light lunch.

The registration fee will have to be paid within 14 days after the invoice date and in any case 14 days before the start of the course or workshop. When these payment terms are not met, neurocare retains the right to exclude the participant from the course or workshop.

3. Cancellation by the participant

Cancellation of the registration needs to be communicated via e-mail, fax or mail* and this must be confirmed by neurocare . For cancellations more than 30 days before the start of the first course or workshop day, there will be no costs involved. For cancellations within 30 days before start of the first course- or workshop-day, 50% of the course costs will be invoiced. One week before the course or workshop, cancellation is not possible. In all cases – after consulting neurocare  – a replacement can be admitted if that person can fulfill requirement 1 of these Terms and Conditions.

Restitution of the registration fee is only possible when termination of the course or workshop is caused by an unforeseen event such as illness or emergency of the participant. Adjudication will be reviewed by neurocare .

4. Accreditation

The authoritative body will issue accreditation of the different courses and workshops. If accreditation is acknowledged it will be stated in the neurocare program. A certificate will be provided after completion of the course or workshop.

5. Course assessment

If a course needs to be completed with an exam performed by neurocare , this is a mandatory part of the course. A neurocare  course can be reviewed by a written or oral examination, a practical assignment or a combination of these.

6. Course cancellation by neurocare

neurocare obtains the right to cancel the course or workshop if there are not enough participants for the course or workshop. Course fees that have already been paid will be returned. neurocare cannot be held responsible for other costs (e.g.flight or hotel) caused by the cancellation of courses or workshops. neurocare obtains the right to change the program whenever this is required.

7. Course material

The copyright and ownership on all course materials created by neurocare will remain of neurocare . Multiplication, copy or distribution of any of these materials or publishing it by press, copy, microfilm or otherwise is not permitted without the written permission from neurocare .

8. Complaints

Complaints about the courses or workshops can be sent in writing to the “College van Toezicht” of the Dutch institute: “Nederlands Instituut Psychologen (NIP)”. Information about this procedure can be found on the website www.psynip.nl.

9. Additional

By registration for a course or workshop, the participant agrees to the Terms and Conditions of neurocare .

10. Applicable Law, Venue

The contractual relationship is subject to the law of the Federal Republic of Germany; the United Nations Convention on Contracts for the International Sale of Goods of 11 April 1980 and the regulations on conflict of laws in international private law are excluded. Place of jurisdiction for all disputes is: a) Pforzheim or Mannheim, at our discretion, insofar as the Customer is a merchant a bodycorporate organized under public law, or a special fund under public law. b) We are entitled to bring an action against the Customer at his/her place of residence. If individual provisions of these Terms and Conditions are invalid, this will not affect the validity of the remaining provisions.
