Operating at our Hawthorn clinic in Melbourne, Dr Gupta-Jessop is a psychiatrist with an interest in combined treatment approaches that involve psychological, pharmacological and neuromodulating interventions. His specialist focus at neurocare is in assessment and delivery of TMS.
Dr Gupta-Jessop completed his medical degree in 2013 at the University of Cardiff (UK). He specialised as a psychiatrist in London in 2018, later completing further specialist training in Forensic Psychiatry in 2021.
After relocating to Australia, Dr Gupta-Jessop obtained Fellowship of the Royal Australian and New Zealand College of Psychiatrists (FRNZCP) where he has been practising both in the public and private sector.
Dr Gupta-Jessop has an interest in personality disorder and its impact on treatment response in relation to disorders such as depression, PTSD and anxiety. He is an advocate of a holistic multidisciplinary approach to care, in recognition that each intervention is only one piece of the puzzle towards good mental health.
