Claudia Caballero is a psychologist with more than 15 years of experience in private practice, school settings, corporate organizations, and the disability sector. Claudia offers a warm and empathic environment to assist her clients with their wellbeing.
Claudia understands that therapy is a process of growth and self-discovery. She guides and assists her clients to heal, energize, become aware of their strengths, and connect with themselves and others.
During her practice in both South America and Australia, Claudia has developed strong skills in evidence-based therapies including Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT) and Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT). She also uses Psychoeducation, Mindfulness-based Therapy, Stress Management, Social Skills and Communication training, Emotional focused therapy, and Play Therapy.
Claudia can help you to keep your life moving in the right direction by managing depression and anxiety-related symptoms, to better cope with stress and anger. She provides strategies to improve your sleep regulation, assist with goals and career progression, manage personal loss, the symptoms of trauma, and cope with life transitions.
For adult clients, Claudia offers support in Assertive Communication, Peak performance skills, Stress and Adjustment problems, Leadership Skills, and Self-Esteem.
In her experience working with children, Claudia supports families, schools, and children to manage behavioural concerns, emotion dysregulation, improve parenting skills, develop social skills, and assist children in mange anxiety-related behaviours. She has a special interest in Autism Spectrum Disorder and ADHD. Claudia is a Medicare and NDIS approved provider.
