Sarah has always been passionate about helping individuals achieve personal growth and has over 20 years’ professional experience as a Psychologist. In previous roles she worked for NSW Health as a Senior Clinical Psychologist and Service Manager, as well as the Student Wellbeing Manager with Stewart House, and has had ongoing experience in private practice.

When it comes to engaging with her clients, Sarah is strengths-focussed and looks to encourage and foster self-belief.  In initial consultation with her clients, she feels it is important to fully comprehend the real circumstances which surround their emotional, behavioural or relationship challenges.

Sarah believes in supporting individuals to live their life in the best way possible and feels privileged to help make meaningful change within a family, partnership or with an individual. At all times she offers thoughtful, compassionate and professional care for her clients and endorses only evidence-based methodologies in mental health.

Sarah understands it is often challenging for her patients to break down seemingly unachievable goals and tries to help identify what needs to be changed and who has responsibility for that change within a family or relationship.

Her tailored therapy programs include Anxiety Management and Mindfulness techniques, Cognitive Behavioural Therapy as well as offering complete Psychological and Behavioural Assessments.  She also understands the importance of sleep in mental health and works with her clients in encouraging healthier sleep and wake behaviour. By addressing apparent sleep issues with her clients facilitates an improvement in general wellbeing as well as enhancing other therapy techniques.

With an interest in the latest research and developments in the field of Psychology, Sarah believes Neuromodulation approaches can offer new directions and therapy alternatives to clients seeking support. Sarah is open to discussing a range of evidence-based therapy options with her clients and their families and can help to find a program that works best with their unique circumstances.

Sarah often works with people presenting with Learning, Behaviour and Cognition Difficulties, Autism Spectrum, ADHD, Anxiety, OCD, Depression, Anger Management and Oppositional Defiance. She is experienced in helping children of all ages and adolescents as well as young adults through to adulthood.
