Provisional Psychologist
Robyn is a registered provisional psychologist with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA). She is a dedicated, warm and caring professional who is passionate about supporting clients to live their lives optimally through collaboratively finding ways to improve self-efficacy in managing life challenges.
Robyn has mental healthcare experience, completing her placement at Northern Beaches Hospital as a provisional psychologist, and working at South Pacific Private Hospital for 2 years as a support worker and intake case manager. Robyn has a compassionate and respectful person-centred focus. She combines this with evidence-based approaches such as Cognitive Behavioural Therapy and Acceptance and Commitment Therapy. Robyn is also qualified to administer Transcranial Magnetic Stimulation (rTMS).
Robyn is a therapist with over 20 years experience as a secondary mathematics teacher and a tertiary foundational lecturer. She also worked in the corporate world as an actuarial analyst. Psychology combines her interest in people’s stories and applying evidence-based scientific research. She carries over her problem-solving skills from mathematics into her passion for psychology.
Robyn welcomes clients across the lifespan particularly adults, older adults and adolescents, with a variety of presentations including Anxiety and Depression.
