Sergio graduated in Chemistry from the University of Pavia, then a Doctorate in Biochemistry followed by courses in High Performance Leadership, Strategic Financing and OWP at the IMD Business school in Lausanne.

He has 35 years of experience in the oil & gas industry in several multinational companies and has spent more than 14 years in the USA, Switzerland and France.

He started his career as a process engineer at Agip Petroli spa, troubleshooting engineer at FW Inc. before moving to project management, sales and marketing. For the last 18 years Sergio has gained experience Managing Director and Executive VP at Sulzer AG, Corning Inc., GEA AG with focus on strategy, innovation, turnarounds and business development.

He has extensive experience in managing the Middle East, Russia, China and Japan markets and has managed a variety of business reorganization, new business creation, production plant optimization, with emphasis on business process, corporate governance, QA/QC and strategic market innovation.
