Learn to treat ADHD, Depression and OCD with evidence-based neuromodulation techniques in Europe's hub for neuroscience: Nijmegen

The picturesque and historic city of Nijmegen is the perfect location for neuroCademy events, with a long history as a cluster-city for neuroscientific research and application.

neuroCademy's training center in Nijmegen is located at the founding neuroCare clinic in The Netherlands and was the first location to host Dr. Martijn Arns' highly sought-after Brainclinics Education events (now neuroCademy.)

Throughout the year Dr. Arns and his colleagues runs workshops and training events on their thoroughly researched and highly effective techniques of personalised rTMS and QEEG-informed Neurofeedback.  The conference room seats up to 15 participants with facilities to demonstrate Neurofeedback, SCP Training, rTMS, Acitgraphy and QEEG.

The following courses are regularly offered at this location. Click on the individual course for more information and course dates.

rTMS Course for Professionals (2-days)

The technique of repetitive Transcranial Magnetic Stimulation has become increasingly sought-after as a sustainable and drug-free intervention for MDD and OCD. For more than fifteen years Dr. Arns has pioneered the application of EEG based personalised medicine and rTMS in combination with psychotherapy with a a 55% remission rate in treatment resistant depression. A special feature of this course is the personalisation of antidepressant treatments and rTMS using EEG and QEEG, as well as personalisation or rTMS using Neuro-Cardiac-Guided TMS.

Neurofeedback Course (4-days)

This workshop is targeted at clinicians and researchers interested in applying neurofeedback in the treatment of ADHD, sleep problems and other indications. Promoting only evidence-based protocols, participants will gain an understanding of how to validly apply neurofeedback in clinical and research settings. This workshop particularly focuses on the role of sleep hygiene in diagnosis and management of symptoms. Participants will receive dedicated hands-on training with various neurofeedback devices. This workshop is based on the international 36-hours didactic neurofeedback blueprint from The Biofeedback Certification International Alliance (BCIA).
