neuroConn develops closed-loop system of EEG measurement and tACS

At the Brainbox Symposium of our subsidiary Rogue Resolutions in London, Sophia Wunder et al. showed first results of the application of a multi-channel tACS combined with simultaneous recording of the EEG (see the scientific poster).

It is known from initial investigations at the Universities of Tübingen (Germany) and Berne (Switzerland), how deterministic conditions in the brain can be caused, thereby allowing both improved induction of neuroplasticity and a faster or more effective response of the non-invasive brain stimulation.

The work is funded by the German Ministry of Education and Research within the framework of the  Initiative for Individualised Medical Technology "IMONAS" and is being developed in cooperation with the University of Tübingen (Prof. Gharabaghi). Find out more about the method and technology at the 2nd European Conference on Brain Stimulation in Psychiatry.
