Donders Brain Stimulation Toolkit

neuroCare Group actively strives to collaborate with international or national acknowledged research institutes, industry, societal institutions and other potential users of the research results. Joining forces makes it possible to extend the research outside the borders of the themes of the institute and to valorise the results of the research. The neuroCare Group aims to make a contribution especially in the fields of neurotechnology and education.

We are proud to be a sponsor for the Donders Brain Stimulation Toolkit on the 10 - 13 September 2018 in Nijmegen, The Netherlands.

About Donders Institute

The Donders Institute for Brain, Cognition and Behaviour is a world-class research centre devoted to understanding the mechanistic underpinnings of human cognition and behaviour in health and disease. The Institute is home to more than 600 researchers from 35 countries who share the common goal of contributing to the advancement of the brain-, cognitive- and behavioural sciences through investigator-driven research, and improving health, education and technology by applying advances in this field.

About the course

Donders Brain Stimulation Tool-kit

This intensive toolkit course (10-13 September 2018) will provide in-depth knowledge on transcranial magnetic stimulation (TMS) and transcranial current stimulation (tDCS/tACS). The course will focus on advanced topics, discussing state-of-the-art techniques to quantification, interference, and modulation of neural activity as well as the effects of brain stimulation. We will specifically address multimodal applications, with a special emphasis on concurrent electroencephalography (EEG), magnetoencephalography (MEG) and functional magnetic resonance imaging (fMRI).

The course involves a series of lectures, demonstrations, and hands-on training of stimulation application, data acquisition and data analysis.
